The Chicago office of the Elks National Foundation will announce the 2020 500 national winners in late April 2020. (Many local Lodges, districts and state Elks associations award their own scholarships through this program. These scholarships are not to be confused with the 500 Elks National Foundation Most Valuable Student Scholarships.).
Americanism Essay Contest. New theme coming September 1, 2018. RULES: 1. Eligible participants must be Students enrolled in the 5th, 6th, 7th or 8th grade at the time of the contest. 2. Essay length is not to exceed 300 words. 3. Essay must be typed or legibly printed in ink. Also, Essay must be submitted as written (or typed) by the entrant. 4. Essay must be submitted for judging to the Elks.

Ithaca Elks announces winners of its Americanism Essay Contest. Nora Coch, a sixth grader at Boynton Middle School, took first place in Division 1 of the New York State Elks 2018-19 Americanism.
Annual Americanism Essay Contest. Every year, the Alameda Elks are proud to participate in an Americanism Essay contest, sponsored by our national organization headquarters. The essay contest is open to ALL 5th-8th grade children, even if their parents are not Elks members. As Elks, we endeavor to promote pride of citizenship and patriotism.

The contest is open to three age groups, Pre-high school, High School and Post Graduates. Participants may be an individual or group, the length of the video should be 2 to 5 minutes in length and on a flash drive or similar “mobile” media in readable format.
